This is the candle at the beginning of the movie represents Despair for the Jews. This is the candle at the end of the movie which represents Hope for all the Jews. The ring the Jews gave Schindler before he left to run away was a sign of forgiveness and gift to show that they were thankful for all that he has done for all the Jews he saved.
